2006 Marching Show Announced

The Greenwood High School Golden Eagle Marching Band has announced its plans for the long awaited 2006 Marching Season. This year, the band will present a complete show from the wildly-exotic and colorful music of Cireque du Soleil. The program is entitled Qudiam and features music composed by Benoit Jutras and Violaine Corradi. Including selections Atmadja, Ninkou Latora, Quidam, and Incantation, the show presents the story of a young girl as she fumes; she has already seen everything there is to see, and her world has lost all meaning. Her anger shatters her little world, and she finds herself in the universe of Quidam. She is joined by a joyful companion as well as another character, more mysterious, who will attempt to seduce her with the marvelous, the unsettling, and the terrifying.
